Essemtec USA, a subsidiary of Essemtec AG and part of Nano Dimension, is seeking a customer-focused Field Service Engineer based in New England. You will service and install systems across North America, travel frequently, and support customers on-site, remotely, and via hotline.

The role requires 2-4 years in electronics manufacturing or robotics, an associate degree or related technical experience, and willingness to travel about 70–80%. Competitive benefits and ongoing training are offered.

Qualificações

• 2-4 years of experience in electronics manufacturing, robotics, PCB assembly, or related technical fields.
• Associates degree or related technical work experience of 2-4 years in field service.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Ability to work with test equipment and hand tools.
• Excellent customer service, problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
• Able to work under pressure and time constraints; handle challenging situations in the field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Motivated, independent, and solution-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Basic knowledge of OSHA and workplace safety.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally approximately 70% - 80%.

Responsabilidades

• Servicing Essemtec systems across North America.
• Provide on-site, remote, and hotline technical and application services.
• Perform install, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, calibrations, upgrades, and retrofits.
• On-site and remote support for hardware/software with internal teams and customers.
• Demonstrate system capabilities and provide customer training.
• Maintain accurate administrative records (CRM/ERP) and trip planning.
• Collaborate with engineering to resolve issues and provide product feedback.
• Maximize customer satisfaction and manage service relationships; conduct follow-ups.
• Identify customer hurdles and escalate for action.
• Represent Essemtec professionally to drive customer experience.
• Travel periodically to international headquarters for training and orientation.
