Job summary

Markem-Imaje Inc. is seeking a Field Service Representative to perform installation, repair, and maintenance of industrial marking equipment in the Philadelphia area and surrounding markets.

You will troubleshoot issues, train customers, and contribute to service sales and warranty activities. The role requires a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background with 3–5 years of field service experience, strong customer interaction skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• BA in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
• 3–5 years mission-critical field service experience a plus.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical system theory.
• Strong interpersonal and customer relationship management skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform field service repair and maintenance to support Markem-Imaje customers and installed base.
• Install, repair, test, and maintain equipment; provide customer training.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and propose solutions.
• Collaborate with sales for demos, training, and follow-up activities.
• Develop technical proficiency on Markem-Imaje products through training and field exposure.
