Job summary

KLA in Phoenix is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support advanced capital equipment at customer sites and trade shows, troubleshoot, repair, and minimize downtime. You will work with installation engineers, provide first-level applications support, prepare service reports, and train junior staff while maintaining PM schedules.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 2 years of related experience; strong communication, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced semiconductor

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Level Degree and related work experience of 2 years.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex capital equipment at customer sites and trade shows.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service support for advanced KLA products at customer sites.
• Maintain Preventive Maintenance schedule and perform PMs.
• Repair and update equipment at customer sites and assist in problem resolution.
• Prepare Field Service Reports and document service activities for other functions.
• Cross-train and assist other field service engineers; support onsite escalations.
• Provide guidance to Installation Engineers and junior staff.
