Job summary
ARxIUM, a global leader in pharmacy automation, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support hospital automation systems across the assigned territory. You will install, troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize ARxIUM hardware and software at customer sites, with travel as a significant component and the option to work remotely where feasible.

Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical, Computers, Engineering Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- 7+ years of field service, maintenance, or technical support experience with complex electro‑mechanical systems.
- 7+ years of customer-facing technical service experience.
- Strong troubleshooting across electrical, mechanical, networking, and software systems.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair ARxIUM hardware and software systems.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Respond to emergency service calls and system outages.
- Troubleshoot electro‑mechanical, electrical, networking, and software issues.
- Support PLC programming validation and troubleshooting activities.
- Schedule maintenance with customers to minimize disruptions.
- Document service activity with accurate reporting and ticket updates.
- Manage service tickets, escalations, and open issues through resolution.
- Collaborate with internal engineering and support teams.
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience on every interaction.
- Participate in after-hours support as needed.

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be the primary technical resource supporting ARxIUM systems at customer sites throughout your assigned territory. You will install, troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize automated pharmacy systems while building strong relationships with healthcare customers.
This position requires a high degree of technical expertise, customer focus, and the ability to work independently.
Travel is a significant component of this role.

- Partner with internal engineering, technical support, and project teams

- Participate in after‑hours support as needed
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical, Computers, Engineering Technology, or a related technical discipline
- 7+ years of field service, maintenance, or technical support experience supporting complex electro‑mechanical systems
- 7+ years of customer‑facing technical service experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills involving electrical, mechanical, networking, and software systems
- Experience working independently in a field‑based environment
- Excellent communication and customer relationship skills
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively
- Allen‑Bradley PLC programming and troubleshooting experience
- Conveyor, controls, and industrial automation experience
- Experience supporting robotics or automated systems
- Knowledge of Windows operating systems and networking
- Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or highly regulated environments
