Job summary

ARxIUM is seeking a Field Engineer to install, maintain, and repair ARxIUM systems at customer facilities. The role requires independence, strong customer communication, and travel to sites.

You will be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance, and for refining PLC coding in collaboration with facility teams. Candidates should have a technical diploma/degree and 7+ years of direct field service experience, including PLC programming (Allen-Bradley), and experience with conveyor

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in a technical field (mechanical, electrical, computer, biomedical, etc.)
• 7+ years of direct field service experience
• Experience programming Allen-Bradley PLCs
• Conveyor and automation experience
• Engineering and electrical experience
• 7+ years of direct field service with customer interaction

Responsibilities

• Perform software and hardware preventive and corrective maintenance
• Perform software and hardware emergency break-fix service calls
• Refine and validate PLC coding
• Schedule downtime for preventive and corrective maintenance with customer facilities
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of paperwork and reports
• Follow up on open issues, tickets, and escalations
• Work outside normal business hours when required
• Perform other duties as required
