Job summary

Fresenius Kabi in the United States seeks a field service technician to provide technical direction and support to customers on operation and maintenance of company products. You will demonstrate product uses, work with sales, QA/QC, and R&D to address concerns and implement corrective actions.

Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, repairing, and upgrading equipment, providing training, analyzing failures, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year in a field-based repair/maintenance role.
• Proficient with Windows and MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain corporate credit card.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Flexibility to work 40 hours/week with overtime, weekends and travel.

Responsibilities

• Install, check out, operate, maintain, repair, and upgrade equipment.
• Provide preventive maintenance and maintain records.
• Train customer personnel on operation and maintenance procedures.
• Analyze equipment failures and recommend corrective action.
• Advise on design changes to improve efficiency or reduce costs.
• Maintain good customer relations and communicate service status and on-site arrival times.
• Manage assets including company vehicle and tools.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality policies.
