Job summary

Fresenius Kabi is seeking a Field Service Engineer in the United States to deliver technical direction and support for our equipment. You will service, repair, and upgrade products at customer sites, maintain records, and train customer staff on operation and maintenance practices.

Candidates should have at least one year in field-based repair, strong problem-solving skills, a valid driver’s license, and ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year working in a field-based repair position.
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows OS and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to think independently and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Install, check out, operate, maintain, repair, and upgrade equipment within time requirements.
• Provide preventative maintenance per published procedures.
• Keep performance and maintenance records for equipment.
• Train customer personnel in operation, maintenance, inspection procedures, and techniques.
• Analyze equipment failures to determine cause and corrective action.
• Advise on design changes to improve efficiency or reduce costs.
• May participate in installation planning phase.
