Job summary

Fresenius Kabi in the United States (Texas) seeks a field service professional to provide technical direction and support for operation and maintenance of company products. You will be the primary customer contact for technical and service-related issues, demonstrating product value and coordinating with sales, QA/QC, and R&D to resolve concerns and drive action.

Travel may be required. Salary ranges from $29.00 to $32.00 per hour, based on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year working in a similar field-based repair position.
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Able to obtain credit approval for Corporate Credit card.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Independent thinking.
• Detail oriented.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work up to and over 8 hours/day; 40 hours/week, including weekends, holidays, and after-hours.
• Occasional overnight travel.
• Must meet access and credentialing requirements to customer sites.
• English language proficiency for policies, procedures, and communications.

Responsibilities

• Install, check out, operate, maintain, repair, and upgrade equipment within time requirements established by service management.
• Provide preventative maintenance following published procedures and maintain records.
• Provide guidance and training to customer personnel on operation and maintenance.
• Analyze equipment failures to determine causes and corrective actions.
• Advise on design changes to improve efficiency or reduce operating costs.
• May participate in installation planning.
• Maintain good will through effective communication and professional appearance.
• Manage assets including vehicle, inventory, test equipment, and tools.
• Comply with Health, Safety, Environment, Energy, and Quality Management systems.
