Job summary

Fresenius Kabi is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide technical direction and on-site support for operation and maintenance of Fresenius Kabi products. You will be the customer contact for technical issues and collaborate with sales, QA/QC, and R&D to resolve concerns and implement corrective actions.

Salary Range: $29.00 - $32.00 per hour based on experience. Travel may be required; benefits include 401(k), health/dental/vision, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year working in a similar field-based repair position
• Computer skills are essential. Must be familiar with Microsoft Windows operating system and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
• Valid driver’s license
• Able to obtain credit approval for Corporate Credit card
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Independent Thinking
• Detail Oriented
• Strong Problem-solving skills
• Able to lift 50 pounds – Must be able to bend, push and so forth
• Manual Dexterity
• Willingness to work up to and over 8 hours/day. 40 hours/week, weekends, holidays, and after-hours.

Responsibilities

• Install, check out, operate, maintain, repair, and upgrade equipment within time requirements established by service management.
• Provide preventative maintenance in accordance with published procedures. Keep performance and maintenance records on the equipment.
• Provide guidance and training to customer personnel in establishing operation, maintenance, inspection procedures, and techniques.
• Analyze equipment failures to determine cause and recommend corrective action.
• Advise and assist in effecting design changes to improve equipment efficiency and/or reduce cost of operations.
• May participate in installation planning phase.
• Maintain customer goodwill through effective communication of services rendered and on-site punctuality and professional appearance.
• Effectively manage company assets including vehicle, parts inventory, test equipment and tools.
• Adhere to Health, Safety, Environment, Energy, and Quality Management Systems.
