Job summary

Hamilton Company in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support, repair, and maintain robotic instrumentation in the field, with focus on installing, servicing, and troubleshooting equipment at customer sites.

The ideal candidate will travel regularly within the region, perform preventative maintenance, report problems, and conduct root cause analysis while ensuring safety when handling hazardous chemicals and biologicals.

Qualifications

• Field service experience in life sciences, clinical, or pharmaceutical settings preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot electronics, electrical, mechanical, and computer systems.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken, required.
• Ability to lift, carry, push or pull approx. 60 lbs.
• Must have a current, valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Install new equipment at customer sites.
• Perform preventative maintenance on robotic instrumentation.
• Troubleshoot and repair Hamilton equipment.
• Report problems and conduct root cause analysis on instrument failures.
• Regular travel to and from customer sites within the region; adhere to traffic laws and routes.
