Job summary

Hamilton Company seeks a Field Service Engineer to support, repair, and maintain robotic instrumentation in the Phoenix, AZ area. The role involves field visits for instrument installation, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality customer support.

The ideal candidate will work in the field with occasional travel, possess a Bachelor’s degree, and be fluent in English. A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to lift up to 60 lbs are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline from a regionally accredited university.
Experience troubleshooting electronics, electrical, mechanical, and computer systems.
Experience in technical field service and working with customers in life science, clinical, or pharmaceutical fields is preferred.
Automation or similar field experience is required.
English fluency, written and spoken, is required.

Responsibilities

Install new equipment at customer sites.
Perform preventative maintenance on instruments.
Troubleshoot and repair Hamilton equipment.
Report problems and conduct root cause analysis on instrument failures.
Travel regularly to customer sites within the region; navigate to sites and arrive on time.
