Job summary

Eaton's Electrical Engineering Services and Systems team seeks a Field Service Engineer for the United States. You will support power distribution projects, deliver technical solutions, and gain hands-on experience across diverse customer environments.

The program pairs structured training with mentoring, offering a solid path to technical excellence and future leadership within Eaton's global power distribution business.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering with graduation date before Aug 2027.
Minimum overall GPA 2.8.
At least 3 months of internship/co-op or equivalent 3 months in technician/maintenance role.

Responsibilities

Work on assigned projects for electrical power distribution equipment.
Deliver technical solutions to customers.
Perform complex engineering assignments including design, testing, or research.
Display proficiency in test equipment operation, troubleshooting, protective relays, power quality measurements, disaster recovery, rotating machinery, protection & design.
Generate timely service reports on work, product performance and warranties.
