Job summary

Siemens field service team is seeking multiple Field Service Engineers to support critical power facilities across Ohio (Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati). You will perform ATS startups, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance at customer sites, traveling up to 80% and coordinating with on-site staff.

Qualified candidates have 3+ years in field service for power facilities, with a high school diploma/ GED and strong knowledge of electrical switchgear, schematics, and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Field Service Engineer with experience in electrical power systems and ATS testing.
• Proficient reading schematics/blueprints for power control and automation.
• Knowledge of applicable codes and industry standards required.
• Strong client communication and ability to manage projects to time/budget.

Responsibilities

• Carry a cell phone and be on call 24/7.
• Focus on work related to automatic transfer switches.
• Provide technical support for field startups, warranty work, repairs, and maintenance contracts.
• Supervise safety policies and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Communicate with clients in a highly customer-service oriented manner; manage scope and charges.
• Travel up to 80% to customer sites.
