Job summary

Siemens seeks a Field Service Engineer to support critical power facilities in the Orlando, FL area. You will perform automatic transfer switch startups, modifications, warranty work, and emergency calls, with a focus on reliability and customer service.

We look for hands-on technicians who can supervise safety, read schematics, and manage projects within budget and schedule. Expect up to 80% travel and on-call duties as part of delivering high‑quality power control solutions.

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years of field service engineering experience.
• Experience with electrical power including low to medium voltage switchgear.
• Strong ability to read schematics and blueprints for power control and automation.
• Familiarity with applicable codes and industry standards.
• Strong client interaction skills and ability to manage projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Perform automatic transfer switch startups, modifications, warranty work, and emergency calls.
• Provide technical support for field startups, warranty efforts, remedial repairs, and preventive maintenance contracts.
• Supervise safety policies and ensure compliance with all laws and guidelines.
• Communicate with clients in a customer‑minded manner and expand project scope as needed.
