Job summary

Russelectric, a Siemens business, is seeking Field Service Engineers to support critical power facilities across Ohio (Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati). The role involves startups, warranty work, and preventive maintenance on automatic transfer switches, with up to 80% travel and on-call duties.

We require 3+ years in field service, electrical power knowledge, ability to read schematics, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in Field Service Engineering.
• Experience with electrical power including LV through MV switchgear for critical facilities.
• Experience with ATS testing and startup procedures.
• Ability to read schematics/blueprints for power control systems.
• Familiarity with applicable codes and industry standards.
• Strong client interaction and project budgeting skills.
• Self-directed with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Valid driver's license in good standing; work authorization in the US.

Responsibilities

• Field startup, modification, warranty and emergency support for ATS projects.
• Provide technical support for field startups and preventative maintenance contracts.
• Supervise safety compliance and regulatory adherence on all work.
• Communicate with clients in a customer-focused manner and manage scope.
• Travel up to 80% to various sites and projects.
