Job summary

hireneXus is seeking a Field Service Engineer for field-based/home-based work across the Northeast US. The role installs, modifies, and repairs complex nuclear measurement equipment, with limited supervision.

You will troubleshoot, document field reports, and represent the company professionally to customers. Travel about 70% regionally; must have a valid driver's license and ability to lift 50+ pounds.

Qualifications

• Background in electronics, mechanics or science/physics is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Experience handling field service tasks in technical environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure complex nuclear measurement equipment on-site.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and coordinate with Support/Engineering.
• Complete Field Reports and maintain proper documentation of field activities.
• Represent the company professionally with customers during service visits.
