Job summary

GE HealthCare is seeking a Field Service Engineer 1 to support CT/Nuclear Medicine modalities in the Connecticut & Western MA region. You will perform preventive maintenance, learn installations, and assist senior engineers while delivering service excellence and customer satisfaction.

Requirements include a degree in engineering or equivalent experience, a valid driver’s license, willingness to travel, and US work authorization. Relocation assistance is provided.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent.
  • Experience with Web applications and Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Willingness to travel for training.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Learn to complete on-time preventive maintenance and basic repairs.
  • Assist more experienced field engineers with equipment installation.
  • Troubleshoot and service designated equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Support account communities and identify potential sales leads.
  • Maintain administrative duties and timely customer service reports.
