Job summary

Mirion Technologies is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, modify and repair complex nuclear measurement equipment with minimal supervision. You will service Mirion hardware and software on-site, collect field data, and train customers on operation and safety procedures.

The role requires strong technical and communication skills, willingness to travel regionally (~70%), and the ability to work independently or in a team to deliver reliable, safe solutions.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in a technical or customer service role handling complex systems.
• A.S. or B.S. in Electronics, Nuclear Engineering or equivalent preferred but not required; substantial experience may substitute.
• Naval Nuclear Power Program experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure Mirion (Canberra) hardware/software on-site using established procedures.
• Troubleshoot, isolate faults, and coordinate with Support/Engineering for fixes.
• Complete Field Reports and logs documenting work and field issues.
• Represent the company professionally in customer interactions.
