Job summary

Mirion Technologies is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, modify and repair complex nuclear measurement equipment and systems with limited supervision. You will perform on-site installations, configure Mirion (Canberra) hardware/software, and provide customer familiarization on system operation.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, documenting field activity, and coordinating with Technical Support and Engineering to resolve issues while representing Mirion professionally.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years in a technical/customer service position.
• A.S. or B.S. in Electronics or Nuclear Engineering preferred but not required; substitutions possible with experience.
• Naval Nuclear Power Program experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install on-site complex nuclear equipment; configure Mirion (Canberra) hardware/software.
• Troubleshoot hardware/software faults; coordinate with Support/Engineering.
• Document Field Reports/logs and communicate issues to customer and team.
• Represent the company professionally in all customer interactions.
