Job summary

BOBST North America in Parsippany, NJ is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service and install Bobst machinery across the US. The role requires extensive travel and hands-on work with advanced equipment.

You will relocate equipment, provide customer training, troubleshoot issues, and support service centers nationwide. A customer-focused mindset and strong communication skills are essential for success in this role.

As a Field Service Engineer, you will:

• Perform service, repairs, and installations of Bobst machinery.
• Relocate existing equipment and conduct preventive maintenance.
• Provide customer training and implement productivity improvement programs.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and offer solutions.
• Be on call for after‑hours support on a rotating basis.
• Offer technical support to customers, service centers, and technicians.

This position requires extensive travel (85-95%) across the US.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• 5-10 years of experience in a Field Service role.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• A customer‑focused mindset and excellent problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication and follow‑up skills

Compensation & Benefits:

In good faith and in alignment with current market data, the base salary for this position is estimated to range between $70,000 - $90,000 USD annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

In addition to the base salary, this role is eligible for:

• Overtime Pay (OT)
• Per diem allowance during travel
• Travel time compensation
