Job summary

SMA America is seeking a Field Service Engineer, Medium Voltage to service SMA MV systems in the Western region, including Phoenix, AZ. The role requires field-based work with significant regional travel and a company truck provided for site visits.

You will test, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair MV equipment, support warranty repairs, and collaborate with the MV engineering team to resolve issues across the U.S. market.

Qualifications

• Field service experience in electrical or power systems.
• Experience with medium voltage equipment and safety practices.
• Willingness to travel regionally on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Test, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair SMA medium voltage systems in the field.
• Support warranty repairs, technical support, and testing of MV products.
• Coordinate with MV engineering team for solutions and escalations.
