Job summary

SMA America is seeking a Field Service Engineer, Medium Voltage to join our Western region team. This field-based role requires residence in the Las Vegas area with substantial travel across the Western United States.

A company truck, tools, and MV certification sponsorship are provided to support field work and customer service excellence. You will perform testing, maintenance, and repair of large MV systems, engage with customers, and collaborate with SMA's global engineering group.

Qualifications

• At least one year in electrical, electronic, utility, or field service role.
• Exposure to MV equipment through work or training accepted.
• Strong reading of prints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing, inspection, maintenance, and repair of SMA Large Scale MV systems in the field.
• Lead or assist on-site activities, ensure safety, and document reports.
• Coordinate with customers and SMA teams for resolution and RCA when needed.
• Possess flexibility for regional travel and training as required.
