Job summary

Block Imaging Parts & Service LLC seeks a field service technician to deliver high-quality installation, inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of X-ray imaging systems. You will work independently in the field, diagnosing issues per OEM specs and regulatory standards, ensuring reliable imaging performance for healthcare partners.

The role requires daily travel to hospital/clinic sites across Kensington, Port Richmond, Northeast Philadelphia, and Fort Washington areas, with strong

Qualifications

• 1-7 years’ experience in medical imaging engineering or equivalent.
• Preferred field service experience for medical imaging equipment (X-ray, mobile/portable X-ray/C-arm, Rad rooms).
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Service, install, evaluate, and maintain medical imaging equipment across the United States.
• Calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair imaging systems and computer components to meet OEM specifications and customer expectations.
• Perform preventive maintenance and resolve advanced electronic, mechanical, and network-related issues.
• Represent the company professionally during on-site visits and communicate customer feedback to internal teams.
• Expand technical knowledge continually and contribute to improving engineering competency.
• Provide timely project updates, insights, and responses to technical inquiries to support decision-making and customer satisfaction.
• Document new processes and provide training to end users, while supporting additional duties as needed.
• Ensure updates, calibrations or repairs are completed properly by running tests or diagnostics.
• Driving and vehicle operation are essential functions of this role.
• Other duties as assigned.
