Job summary

Block Imaging is seeking a Field Service Technician to deliver high-quality technical service and support for medical imaging equipment (X‑ray). You will install, test, troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain systems to ensure peak performance and safety compliance.

This role requires daily travel to hospital and clinic sites in Reading, Pottstown, Phoenixville and surrounding Berks County, covering the Southeastern PA region. Strong problem-solving and customer‑facing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• 1–7 years’ experience in medical imaging engineering or equivalent.
• Field service for medical imaging equipment preferred (X-ray, mobile/portable X-ray/C‑arm, Rad rooms).

Responsibilities

• Service, install, evaluate, and maintain medical imaging equipment across the United States.
• Calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair imaging systems to OEM specs and customer expectations.
• Perform preventive maintenance and resolve complex electronic, mechanical, and network issues.
