Job summary

Werfen is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, service, and maintain complex instrumentation across North America. You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and drive customer satisfaction during on-site visits.

The role requires 3+ years in technical support, an Associates degree or equivalent, and willingness to travel up to 90% with potential on-call rotation. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401k, vacation, and potential commission bonuses.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience in electronics/medical tech.
• Minimum 3 years in a technical/support role.
• Windows OS and PC/networking knowledge; Lab Information Systems a plus.
• On-call rotation and extended/flexible hours.
• MS Office 365 preferred.
• Knowledge of two Werfen instrumentation platforms.

Responsibilities

• Installations, repairs and preventative maintenance on Werfen instruments during on-site visits.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and isolate instrument issues; implement corrective action.
• Escalate unresolved technical issues and maintain client relationships.
• Promote service contracts and support contract renewals.
• Maintain accurate service records and reports; ensure regulatory compliance.
