Job summary

Werfen is seeking a Field Service Engineer for the San Francisco territory to service complex diagnostic instruments. You will install, repair, and maintain Werfen systems, travel extensively, and ensure high customer satisfaction through professional support.

The role requires an Associates degree or equivalent, 3+ years in a technical/support role, and strong problem-solving skills. Travel up to 90% with overnight stays, and a base salary described below.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Electronics, Medical Technology, Biomedical Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years in a technical/support role with customer contact.
• Familiarity with Windows OS, Lab Information Systems, and network connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Installations, repairs, preventative maintenance and product enhancement on Werfen instruments and systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot instrument issues, perform corrective actions.
• Escalate unresolved issues and maintain professional relationships with customers.
