Lumenis is a global medical technology company empowering clinical environments with energy-based solutions and strong customer support. The Field Service Engineer position is based in San Francisco, with 60%+ travel to install, repair, and service equipment at customer sites.

You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and train users to maximize system uptime. We value candidates with an engineering or technical certification background, field service or technical support

Qualifications

• Degree or technical certification in Engineering, Electronics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience in field service, maintenance, or technical support roles.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer-facing communication skills.
• Ability to travel and work independently.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, maintain, and repair company equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software issues efficiently.
• Perform preventive maintenance to maximize system uptime and performance.
• Provide technical training and guidance to customers and end users.
• Document service activities, findings, and recommendations accurately.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to improve product reliability.
