Job summary

EquipNet is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to support LC-MS, GC-MS, and TOF systems for biotech, pharma, chemical, and environmental labs in the Cerritos region.

You will deliver on-site and remote technical support for SCIEX and Waters mass spectrometry, perform IQ/OQ/PQ installations, calibrations, and provide training and documentation, while maintaining compliance and high uptime.

Qualifications

• 5+ years field service experience with SCIEX and Waters MS systems.
• Expertise in LC-MS and GC-MS hardware, software configuration.
• Ability to diagnose complex failures under live lab conditions.
• Familiarity with CDS and MS software (Analyst, MassLynx).
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Good documentation and compliance practices.
• Must reside within commuting distance to Cerritos, CA.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote and on-site LC-MS/GC-MS support for SCIEX and Waters TOF systems.
• Diagnose hardware, software, and application issues across MS platforms.
• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, calibrations per specs and regs.
• Lead IQ/OQ/PQ installation and validation of new LC-MS/GC-MS/TOF systems.
• Optimize instrument performance and workflows; train lab personnel.
• Maintain service logs and compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve complex issues.
