Pace Analytical Services, LLC is seeking an Experienced Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry Field Service Engineer to support and repair analytical instrumentation at client sites in Massachusetts. The role demands expert troubleshooting, calibration and qualification of HPLC/UPLC/LC/MS systems, with travel up to 50%.

You will collaborate with customers, draft technical documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement of instruments and procedures while maintaining high quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry/biochemistry/electronics or closely related field plus 8+ years of instrument troubleshooting experience.
• Advanced to expert knowledge of HPLC, UPLC, LC/MS and LC/MS/MS troubleshooting and calibration.
• Ability to travel overnight 25-50% depending on location.

Responsabilités

• Perform advanced maintenance, diagnosis and repairs of HPLC, UPLC, LC/MS and LC/MS/MS.
• Calibrate and qualify HPLC/UPLC/LC-MS systems.
• Recommend and implement improvements to instrument systems.
• Source and manage parts and consumables to maintain instrument availability.
• Provide on-site customer support and interpret troubleshooting results.
• Draft and revise SOPs, calibration procedures, and qualification protocols.
• Collaborate on cross-functional projects and report to management.
• Ensure data integrity and quality through audits and documentation.
• Travel overnight 25-50% as required.
