Job summary

Eaton’s Electrical Engineering Services and Systems team is seeking a Field Service Engineer in the United States. You will work on electrical power distribution projects, delivering solutions to customers and performing advanced engineering tasks in diverse environments.

A structured training program supports your growth toward technical and leadership roles. Role requires relocation flexibility within the US, a valid driver's license, and a proactive, safety-conscious approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering with graduation date before August of 2027.
• Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.8.
• Minimum of one internship/co‑op experience or an equivalent 3 months of experience in a technician or maintenance role working on or with machines, vehicles or large equipment.

Responsibilities

• Work on assigned projects for electrical power distribution equipment
• Deliver technical solutions to customers
• Perform less conventional complex engineering assignments that may involve equipment or product design, testing of materials, process studies, or research investigations
• Display proficiency in Test Equipment Operation, Troubleshooting Techniques, Protective Relays, Power Quality Measurements, Disaster Recovery, Rotating Machinery, Protection & Design
• Generate timely and accurate service reports on work, product performance, and warranties
