Job summary

MADx – Macro Array Diagnostics GmbH is seeking a field service engineer to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, installation, and on-site training for laboratory instruments across the United States and Canada. The role requires traveling up to 50% and delivering superior technical support to customers.

The ideal candidate has hands-on diagnostic equipment experience, strong communication, and a degree in electronics or related field.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience maintaining and repairing laboratory or clinical diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent communication skills with customers and team members.
• Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 50%) across the US and Canada.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on lab instruments at customer sites in US/Canada.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues to restore equipment.
• Install and validate new equipment on-site and train staff.
• Provide high-level technical support and customer guidance.
• Maintain accurate service reports and documentation.
