Job summary

Medtronic EP Technologies is seeking a Field Service Engineer III to support Affera systems across New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and surrounding areas. The role is remote with up to 75% travel to customer sites and requires installation, verification, and ongoing maintenance of complex electrophysiology platforms.

The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide field service training, and assist with product upgrades and process improvements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 4 years of technical, clinical field service, technical internship or clinical customer support experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline is a plus.
• Ability to apply engineering principles to troubleshooting and equipment diagnosis.
• Excellent English writing and verbal communication skills are expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform installations, inspections, verification, corrective and preventive maintenance of EP Technologies Affera systems.
• Maintain technical records and documentations per regulatory requirements.
• Provide input to service processes for continuous improvement and updates to service documentation.
• Provide technical training to distributors, partners, and customer-facing staff.
• Support smooth product introductions with design improvement discussions and trend analysis.
