Job summary

Canon USA in Hillsboro, Oregon seeks a Field Service Engineer II to provide on-site installation, repair, and maintenance of photolithography semiconductor equipment. The role requires after-hours support and flexibility with schedules, including potential compressed weeks.

You will travel as needed, troubleshoot complex systems, and maintain documentation while collaborating with others to minimize downtime and support customer operations.

Qualifications

HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
AA OR BS degree in a related field preferred, plus 1–2 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

Check and maintain equipment within factory standard specifications.
Instruct customers in operation and maintenance of the system.
Perform repair maintenance or unit replacement per factory procedures.
Provide technical support to customers to minimize downtime and ensure satisfaction.
Identify and report equipment errors and status updates for troubleshooting.
Maintain documentation of activity and provide periodic reports.
Collaborate with field technicians to troubleshoot and service equipment.
