Job summary

Prosum in Hillsboro, OR is seeking a Field Service Engineer to deliver independent field service activities for customers. You will troubleshoot complex products, respond to service calls, and perform preventative maintenance on Company products.

The role requires hands-on engineering experience in semiconductor environments, tool proficiency (oscilloscope, DVM), and cleanroom familiarity. Strong problem solving and customer communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering and 2–5 years of professional engineering experience.
• Hands-on engineering experience in semiconductor installation, maintenance, repair, sustaining, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with tools: oscilloscope, digital multimeter, and hand tools; cleanroom experience.
• Nice to have: photomask, inspection, metrology, lithography, optical, lasers and robotics.

Responsibilities

• Receive service calls from customers and determine their needs.
• Provide over-the-phone consultation and advice to customers.
• Respond to emergency customer situations and schedule/repair at customer sites.
• Perform preventative maintenance on Company products and establish local maintenance service.
