Job summary

MEUS-IAD is seeking a Service Engineer to provide intermediate technical service and support to machine tool builders, dealers, and end-users in the Houston area. You will perform on-site service, troubleshoot electro-mechanical systems, and support in-house diagnostic tools while maintaining data in the service database.

Responsibilities include installing MEUS-IAD solutions, promoting value-added services, and coordinating with senior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or equivalent related experience.
• 3+ years of field service experience in industrial automation.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical tools for machine repair.
• Hands-on experience with voltmeters, oscilloscopes and other test equipment.
• Ability to read technical docs including schematics and procedures.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide intermediate technical service and support to MTBs, dealers, and end-users on-site or via call center.
• Install components, software, and MEUS-IAD solutions at customer facilities.
• Diagnose equipment breakdowns using machinery knowledge to maintain uptime.
• Log technical activity and customer inquiries into the database with data integrity.
• Travel up to 80% within the assigned region to service customers.
