Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer II to deliver expert field service support for complex electromechanical systems. You will install, diagnose, train, and troubleshoot at customer sites, acting as the technical lead and liaison between customers and AMETEK.

The role requires significant independence, travel, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering and service leadership. Applicants should have a BS in Engineering and at least 3 years of field service or related

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
Minimum of three (3) years of field service or equivalent experience.
Valid Driver’s License and Passport required.

Responsibilities

Plan and execute complex equipment installations, commissioning, and preventive maintenance at customer sites.
Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting for electromechanical, electronic, and software issues onsite or remotely.
Act as technical authority during customer engagements and recommend improvements and corrective actions.
Design and validate process parameters and test methodologies to evaluate machine performance.
Interpret measurement systems and align them with specifications, proposing adjustments as needed.
Deliver technical training to customers on machine operation and software functionality.
