Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician to join an international service team in Keene, NH.

You will install machines, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electromechanical and software issues at customer sites or remotely, and communicate clearly with customers to minimize downtime. The role requires up to 50% travel, training customers on operation and software, and coordinating with engineering and service teams.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical discipline is desired, or relevant experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of field service or similar experience.
• Prior machinery service experience is a plus.
• Valid Driver’s License and Passport required.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine installations and preventive maintenance at customer sites.
• Train customer on machine operation and software functionality.
• Able to operate machine to prove out performance and evaluate lens configurations.
• Provide information to customer support for spare parts and service quotations; enter CRM data accurately.
• Provide excellent technical service to customers via telephone and email.
• Assist in preparation of service documents, photos, drawings, and troubleshooting guidance.
• Assist in refining operator manuals and machine documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to troubleshoot issues.
• Provide timely, detailed customer service reports in CRM.
• Travel up to 50% is required.
• Other duties as delegated by supervisor.
