Job summary

SCIEX, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain and repair mass spectrometry instrumentation across the greater Kansas City area. You will work remotely and travel to customer sites, including strategic accounts, with mentoring responsibilities for junior staff.

You will typically have LCMS or capillary electrophoresis experience and a background in servicing scientific instrumentation, while meeting vendor credentialing requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering or equivalent.
• LCMS and/or capillary electrophoresis experience required; servicing MS or instrumentation.
• Meet Vendor Credentialing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain mass spectrometers, HPLC and/or capillary electrophoresis systems.
• Provide qualifications services and customer training; ensure customer satisfaction at strategic accounts.
• Perform administration duties (log service activities, expenses, inventory).
