Job summary

Honeywell seeks a Field Service Engineer I - Gas Detection in Hillsboro, OR. You will engage with customers to ensure optimal operation and maintenance of gas detection systems, provide expert troubleshooting, and support training and development within the Field Organization.

You will report to the Sr Field Service Supervisor and work onsite with strong emphasis on safety, documentation, and timely resolution of complex technical issues across internal teams.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 1–2 years field service experience or military technical training with 1–2 years field experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office for documentation, reporting and communication.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and field service operations.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to customer sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to ensure optimal operation and maintenance of gas detection systems.
• Provide expert troubleshooting and solutions to enhance safety and reliability.
• Report directly to Sr Field Service Supervisor; work onsite in Hillsboro, OR.
• Develop training curriculum for Field Organization and support knowledge-sharing mindset.
