Job summary

Honeywell International Inc. in Bloomington, MN seeks a Field Service Engineer I to provide technical support in Industrial Automation, troubleshoot issues, and drive customer satisfaction. You will work on-site at the Bloomington location and report to the Service Manager.

You will help develop training materials, document activities, and collaborate with Technical Support and Engineering to resolve advanced issues, ensuring timely feedback and high service quality.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronics, Engineering Technology, Instrumentation, HVAC, Fire Alarm Systems, or related field; OR 1-2 years of field service experience.
• 1-2 years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel/Word/SharePoint/PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to customer sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot hardware and software to resolve complex equipment issues.
• Provide direct support to Internal & External Customers.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues with timely reports and documentation.
• Act as conduit for Field Service to Technical Support & Engineering for advanced resolution.
• Develop training curriculum for Field Organization and share knowledge.
