Job summary

Air Liquide in Hillsboro, OR, is seeking an Operations Support Engineer to ensure the daily operation, maintenance, and reliability of semiconductor gas delivery systems and related equipment.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of gas analysis instruments, while coordinating with contractors and supporting site life-cycle activities. The role includes field testing, installation support, and emergency on-call responses in a safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• 1–5 years hands-on engineering/operations experience.
• Direct experience with high-purity gas delivery systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily performance of semiconductor gas delivery equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on gas plants and system components.
• Set up and operate gas analysis instruments and record test results.
• Provide installation, testing, and commissioning support for new gas delivery systems.
• Coordinate third-party contractors and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Provide emergency on-call support to minimize downtime.
• Support site life-cycle activities and maintain accurate maintenance logs.
