Job summary

Lam Research in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support premier customer service for our semiconductor equipment. You will install, troubleshoot, and maintain complex electro-mechanical systems at customer sites, driving operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Travel is required domestically and internationally; the role offers a hybrid on-site and remote work model with a mix of on-site visits and remote support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with substantial field experience in semiconductor capital equipment.
• Experience in installation, maintenance, repair, or troubleshooting of semiconductor capital equipment.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics and operation manuals.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work varied shifts including overtime and on-call.

Responsibilities

• Develop and provide solutions for quality repair, maintenance, and installation services at customer sites.
• Analyze and solve problems across Lam products to the component level.
• Coordinate and run experiments and generate reports.
• Lead customer meetings with management and technical teams.
• Own site KPIs and drive improvements to meet targets.
