Job summary

Amada is seeking a Customer Support Engineer for Gen Fab in Cincinnati / Dayton, OH to support customers with Amada punch presses and related equipment. The role covers installation, service, training, programming, networking, and automation training at customer sites.

You will travel within the territory, troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and control systems, read drawings, and use Amada software for line control and part programming.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics or related field required or 2-year degree with related work experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel within assigned territories.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Fluent English required; Spanish (Mexican) not essential.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and control systems.
• Install equipment following layout drawings and blueprints.
• Complete service and expense reports weekly.
• Provide customer training on applications and programming.
• Operate Amada line control and part programming software.
• Travel regularly within the territory.
