Job summary

KLA in Austin is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide elite support to PCB Territory customers, ensuring Orbotech systems operate accurately and boosting customer satisfaction. You will report to the District Manager.

The role requires a strong background in electronics, mechanical engineering and PCB technologies, willingness to travel up to 50–60%, and the ability to work autonomously in challenging conditions. Lifting 50 lbs and extended travel are part of the job.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of related work experience.
• Solid background in electronics, mechanical engineering, vacuum technology, and PCB technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide service support to customers including system commissioning, breakdown repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Generate close working relationships with customers to enable product portfolio sales.
• Accurate completion of field reports and representing KLA values.
