Job summary

The Electrical Engineering Services and Systems global service team at Eaton seeks a Field Service Engineer to provide power system solutions for customer environments across the United States. You will gain strong technical foundations in power distribution while working in diverse locations and with experienced mentors.

The role requires a degree in engineering, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to relocate.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution, graduation before Aug 2027.
Minimum overall GPA of 2.8.
Minimum internship/co-op or 3 months in technician/maintenance role with machines/vehicles/equipment.
Eaton will not sponsor immigration for this position.
Must be able to relocate within the United States.
Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

Work on assigned projects for electrical power distribution equipment.
Deliver technical solutions to customers.
Perform complex engineering assignments including design, testing, or research.
Demonstrate proficiency in Test Equipment Operation, Troubleshooting Techniques, Protective Relays, Power Quality Measurements, Disaster Recovery, Rotating Machinery, and Protection & Control Design.
Generate timely service reports on work, product performance, and warranties.
