Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a Service Engineer to perform fieldwork at customer sites and resolve server system issues, both onsite and remote. You will diagnose hardware problems, coordinate RMAs, and support a global service network, including travel to data centers as needed.

The role requires 3–5+ years in enterprise data center operations, strong Linux skills, and experience with server, storage, compute, and network hardware. Travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 3-5+ years of experience in enterprise data center operations.
• 3-5+ years of experience troubleshooting and repairing servers and networking infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite and remote troubleshooting of complex server systems in data center environments.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware issues involving GPUs, CPUs, memory, NVMe, NICs, and interconnects.
• Coordinate RMA processes and spare parts logistics; manage service tickets in Salesforce or similar systems.
