Job summary

Segra seeks a qualified Construction Technician/Field Service Engineer (Knoxville, TN) for full-time, onsite work five days a week. You will oversee construction at multiple sites, supervise contractors, and coordinate installation, turn-up, testing, and field support.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED, with 2+ years in general construction or telecom installation preferred. Travel may be required; on-call rotation included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or related experience.
• Telecom equipment installation experience preferred.
• Ability to lead a crew to meet schedule and budget requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction activities on worksites and supervise contractors.
• Plan, implement and oversee construction efforts across sites in designated market.
• Assist with equipment installation, turn-up, testing, and field troubleshooting.
• Coordinate on-call coverage for emergency repair and maintenance activities.
