Job summary

Segra is seeking a qualified Construction Technician in Greenville, SC for a full-time, in-office role. You will oversee construction activities on-site, supervise contractors, and plan efforts across multiple sites within the designated market.

Reporting to the Construction/Project Manager, you will ensure work aligns with timelines and quality standards while remaining on-call on a rotational basis. Strong communication and planning skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2 years of fiber/telecommunications/ROW construction experience.
• Ability to lead a crew to complete work on schedule within customer requirements and budget.
• Excellent understanding of construction and permitting prints.
• Assist in monitoring inventory/material usage during construction cycle.
• Assist with identification and troubleshooting of construction problems with safe solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good planning and organization skills to balance and prioritize work.
• Some travel will be expected, both overnight and daily travel.
• Basic experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction activities on the worksite and supervise contractors.
• Plan and oversee construction efforts at several work sites within the designated market.
• Report field progress to the Construction Manager and/or Project Manager.
• Ensure quality and adherence to company standards and best practices.
• Be on 24x7 on-call on a rotational basis.
