Job summary

EMAG - USA is seeking a field service specialist to commission CNC machines and troubleshoot on-site across North and South Carolina. You will travel regionally, diagnose issues, and coordinate with engineering to deliver fast, safe service.

Strong communication and hands-on mechanical/electrical knowledge are essential, with a commitment to safety and quality as you support customers and EMAG’s solutions.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent experience with 3–5 years in machine tool field.
• Structured problem-solving and data analysis abilities.
• Willingness to travel regionally and work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Commission and certify CNC machines and automation cells to specification.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control issues on-site.
• Coordinate corrective actions with engineering and customer service.
• Provide on-site troubleshooting and technical guidance.
• Document service activities and analyze recurring issues.
• Author/update service bulletins and handbooks from field feedback.
• Lead safety-focused training for customers and internal teams.
• Maintain professional communication between customers and EMAG.
