Job summary

Correa USA is seeking an experienced CNC Field Service Technician to install, diagnose, and repair large CNC machine tools across the United States. The role emphasizes electrical troubleshooting, CNC controls, and machine diagnostics, with about 80% travel required.

You will work independently, read schematics, service Siemens/Fanuc/Heidenhain/Mitsubishi controls, and deliver best-in-class customer support while maintaining safety and quality standards; a technical degree or equivalent

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of CNC machine tool maintenance or field service experience.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting across CNC controls, PLCs, servo drives, motors, encoders.
• Experience with Siemens controls preferred; Fanuc/Heidenhain/Mitsubishi also desirable.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
• Willing to travel ~80% across the United States; valid driver's license and passport.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot CNC controls, servo drives, PLCs, motors, encoders.
• Read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams to isolate and repair faults.
• Install, commission, troubleshoot, and repair CNC machine tools.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance, machine inspections, alignments, and calibration procedures.
• Document service activities and communicate repair recommendations and status updates to customers and internal staff.
• Deliver professional customer service while maintaining safety and quality.
• Travel approximately 80% throughout the United States, with occasional international travel for training.
